Phrasal verbs


To make~
~after- to follow somebody, use somebody as a model(a se lua după)
~out- to see something with difficulty (a vedea ceva cu dificultate)
~up- to invent, make something complete, to put powder, lipstick etc on one’s face (a inventa, completa, întregi, a se machia)
~up on- to get back together with someone (a se împăca cu cineva)
~up one’s mind- to decide (a decide)
~over- to donate (a dona)
Underline the right preposition. Subliniaţi prepoziţia corectă din paranteză:
Nothing can make(over, up) for the years you were not here. She made(out, after) her friends, and look where she finally got! Seeing he was late, he made(after, up, over) a story for his mother. I cant’t make(up, after) my mind now; we’ll talk in the morning.
