Homewrok for IX A--deadline Thursday 29th of March 2012

As I have already announced you, your homework will consist in submitting a recipe of your favourite food, or a recipe at your choice. Please, be clear and well structured in your writing. Mention all the ingredients and how you prepare your recipe.
Please, submit your homework as comments to this post and don't forget to sign them, so that I know who the author is.
I will not take into consideration the answers submitted later than the deadline.

  1. Recipe Pancake : we need: powder pancakes, milk, eggs, sugar.
    Mix eggs, pancakes dusted get a bowl, then put 2 eggs and mix with a mixer then put 3 tablespoons of sugar.
    We pancakes in pan and fry them on both sides.

  2. Recipe Muffins:we need:250flour,150sugar,6g baking powder,1/4 spoon salt,one egg,200ml milk,110g melted butter,1 spoon vanilla,orange peel,2 spoon chocolate chips.
    Preparation:
    1.Heat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
    2.Mix in dry ingredients in a deep bowl: flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix them well with a spoon.
    3.In another bowl, mix wet ingredients: warm milk, melted butter, orange peel, vanilla and egg. Mix them all well with a whisk.
    4.Add wet ingredients over the dry and mix gently to combine.
    5.Add chocolate chips
    6.Grease muffin forms with very little oil.
    7.Place muffins forms a tray.
    8.Pour 3 tablespoons of dough each form
    9.Enter the muffins in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
    10.Check muffins after 15 minutes.

  3. Peaches "Orsova"
    Ingredients:
    -6 peaches
    80 g semolina
    -vanilla
    -300 g sugar
    -80 g raisins
    -2 tablespoons rum
    -4 sheets of gelatin
    -3/4 l milk
    300g whipped cream
    50 g candied fruit

    Preparation :
    1.Boil semolina in milk with vanilla (slow fire) about 15 minutes.
    2.Soak the gelatin in cold water about 20 minutes.
    3.Mix the semolina with gelatin.
    4.When gelatin has melted add the rum, raisins and candied fruit
    5.When it has cooled, mix it with whipped cream foam.
    6.Composition is put into a form of savarin and refrigerate.
    7.After 4-5 hours the composition is inverted on a platter.
    8.Peaches are cleaned and cut in two.
    9.Then put the peaches in a saucepan with sugar and 2 tablespoons water.
    10.Place lid and cook on slow fire for about 20 minutes.
    11.After the peaches are cool place above composition and garnish with whipped cream.

    Ingredients:
    - 200g butter
    - 150g powdered sugar
    - 200g milk powder
    - 50g coconut

    1) Mix all the ingredients with a spoon
    2) After mixing we do some balls
    3) After we have made the balls fill them with raisins or cherry in alcohol
    4) Then pass them through the nut
    And that's all.

    Ingredients
    *4 (1 ounce) squares chocolate
    *1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
    *1 3/4 cups white sugar
    *4 eggs
    *1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    *2 cups chopped pecanS
    DIRECTIONS
    Preheat oven to 165 degrees C. Line 24 muffin cups with paper liners. In the top of a double boiler, combine chocolate and butter. Heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture is melted and smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool to lukewarm.
    2. Sift flour and sugar together into a large bowl. With mixer on low speed, beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in chocolate mixture, vanilla and pecans. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Do not overbake. Tops should be shiny but give slightly when touched.

    Ingredients:

    3 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    3 eggs
    2 cups sugar
    1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
    3 cups chopped apples, such as Rome Beauty
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    Brown sugar topping, below

    Preparation:
    Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; set aside. Beat eggs; add sugar and oil and beat for 3 minutes. Gradually stir in sifted dry ingredients. Fold in apples, walnuts, and vanilla. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Pour topping over the cake as soon as it comes out of the oven. Let cool, loosen sides, invert on a plate, then invert on another plate, topping-side up.

  7. Milk chocolate pound cake
    Ingredients

    1 cup butter or margarine, softened
    1 1/2 cup sugar
    4 each eggs
    2 each milk chocolate candy bars (1-1/8 oz ea.), melted
    1 cup buttermilk
    2 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
    1 pn salt
    1/4 teaspoon soda
    1 cup pecans, chopped
    5 1/2 oz chocolate syrup
    2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 sugar, powdered (optional)

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add melted candy bars and buttermilk, and mix well. Combine flour, salt, and soda; add to chocolate mixture, mixing well. Add pecans, chocolate syrup, and vanilla, blending well. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 10 inch tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. When cake is cool, sift powdered sugar over cake, if desired.

    Preparation time:
    -1 hour

    Ingredients:
    -1 packet margarine
    -1 egg
    -one cup skim milk (yogurt)
    -2 cups sugar
    -1 pinch of baking
    -flour as much
    -5 kg apples
    -little gray
    -salt
    -cinnamon

    Preparation:
    Make a dough from margarine, egg, sugar, skim milk (yogurt), baking powder, flour.
    Clean apples from peel, give on great grater,squeeze and add cinnamon.The dough is divided into two.Put half in greased tray,sprinkle a little gris over which put apples.Over put the second half of dough.Cut into squares before you place it in the oven.After baking Leave it to cool and put a little powdered sugar and vanilla flavored .

  9. Pancakes =>>

    Ingredients:
    100g - flour
    300ml - milk
    1-2 eggs
    1 spoon of rum
    1 spoon of oil
    1/2 spoon of salt
    1 shell of lemon

    Preparation:

    We put the yolks , the oil , the rum , the salt , 50 ml of milk and the shell of lemon and we mix them .
    We add flour and we combine the ingredients till the lumps disapear .
    Then we add rest of the milk to make compozition more soft .
    Then we prepare the whites wtih the mixer till they become foamy . Then we combine them with te composition which will become foamy and more solid . The rum will keep it foamy till the end and the pancakes will be tender .
    THAT`S ALL ! ENJOY IT !

    ingredients:
    500 g milk powder
    250 ml water
    3/4 kg sugar
    200 g butter
    100 g cocoa

    WAY OF PREPARATION:
    homenade chocolate-Water and sugar is put on fire and let boil 10 mnutes to dissolve all the sugar and syrup forms a.
    The butter melts intro a pat over low heat then let cool.
    Otinut in syrup add gradully:every bittle bit of all, milk powder, cocoa butter till it finish all the quqntity of igedients.
    you can add raisins or peanuts taste nesarate etc..
    Compozition spreads on tray in the layer of about an n the ciolofan.

    Ingredients:
    -flour 100 gr.
    -sugar
    -margarine 60 gr.
    -three apples
    -cinnamon

    Preperation:
    Apple Cake - Stir for a few minutes flour, margarine and sugar (half a teaspoon). Add the apples peeled and sliced the bottom shape, sprinkle with sugar (a tablespoon), cinnamon and yeast. Bake cake at 225 degrees C until apples are tender and pastry is light brown(20 minuts).

  12. Chocolate Ice Cream

    Ingredients:
    2/3 cup white sugar
    1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    2 2/3 cups heavy cream
    1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips

    Preparation:
    In large bowl, stir together sugar and cocoa. Add egg yolks and blend with electric mixer. Add cream a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Chill mixture in refrigerator.
    While cream mixture is chilling, grate chocolate chips in blender or food processor or using a rotary grater, until fine. Stir into cream mixture. Freeze in canister of ice cream maker.

  13. Ingredients Required

    1 cup of warm water (105F)
    3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
    2 tablespoons of olive oil
    2 teaspoons of honey
    1 teaspoon of salt
    1 teaspoon of yeast
     
    Step by Step Procedure
    1. Put warm water (80 to 110�F) into a bowl. Add salt and honey and mix with a spoon. Add yeast, mix and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
    2.Gradually add flour and olive oil and start mixing.
    3.When the mixture gets too heavy to mix, start kneading the dough with your hands.
    4.Knead the dough until you have a smooth ball. If the dough cracks it is too dry. Add water bit by bit until if forms a nice coherent ball. If your doug feels more like batter, it is too wet and you need to add flour bit by bit. If you need to add water or flour, do it by small amounts
    5.Coat the dough with olive oil, place it in a large bowl and cover it with kitchen wrap or a grocery bag. Let the doug rise for about an hour at room temperature, then push it down again so it deflates. Let it sit for about another hour. If you want to use it the next day, put it in a refrigerator.
    6.Put the dough on a lightly floured surface, put a bit of flour on top and make it into the shape of a pie by stretching it out from the center outwards. Use a rolling pin until the dough is about 1/4" thick. Punch some holes in the dough with a fork to let the air escape while the pizza is in the oven
    7.Put on your pizza sauce of choice.
    Put on your favorite pizza toppings.
    8.Bake the pizza in you oven at 400 - 450° F for about 20 to 25 minutes until the crust is light brown.

    If you want do Hazelnut ice cream you need:
    •100 gr penuts;
    •1 liter ofmilk;
    •250 gr sugar;
    •8 egg yolks;
    •3-4 sackets vanilia(or essence of vanilia).

    How is made?:
    Fry the nuts in a pan, to cooker, having care not to burn,
    Thay clean the skin grind them to powder and boil with 100 ml milk and vanilia,
    Add what remaining of milk and stirring to blend,
    Mixez yolks whit sugar, add a little milk and hazelnut,
    Put this sauce at bain-marin whit could whater until be could, thinken cream.
    After this get in shape at the freeze and wait 2 hour o’clock to be finish,so Enjoi it!

    Ingredients:
    -130 g flour;
    -50 g brown sugar;
    -50 g sugar;
    -100 g butter;
    -1 egg;
    -40 g raisins;
    -20 g roasted nuts;
    -80 g minced chocolate;
    -1 baking powder;
    -2 vanilla sugar;

    In a bowl mix the butter with the sugar. Add the flour and the baking powder and mix until those became a composition.
    In another bowl mix the egg with vanilla. Add the second composition over the first and mix them very good.In the final composition put the raisins, the nuts and the minced chocolate and mix slowly.
    Divide the dough with a spoon in 16-18 parts, then round them into form.
    Drop them into a plateau,with a 3-4cm distance between them.
    Before puting them in the oven, press them easy with the back of a spoon.
    Put them in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 180 degrees,until they become golden.

    -225g butter
    -360g milk powder
    -6 cups cocoa
    -1tbsp. rum
    -1tbsp. vanilla
    -300g sugar
    -150ml water

    Preparation:
    We put in a bowl 50ml water with 100g sugar and put on the blaugas.
    1When sugar melt,add 75g butter.
    2When butter melt,add 3 spoon of cocoa and 1tbsp of rum.
    3Remove from the blaugas and add 130g milk powder.
    4We put in a small recipe and let it cool 10 minutes.
    5When chocolate is cool,you can enjoy!!!

  18. Cake with yoghurt and orange
    Ingredients:
    Dough: *125 g flour *1 pinch of baking powder *50 g butter *2 tablespoons sugar * an egg
    Filling: *500 g yoghurt *1 sachet gelatine *5 tablespoon of sugar
    For cake decoration: *oranges or other fruits
    Preparation: 1. For dough mix all ingredients until became an homogenous dough not too smooth. Put it in a plastic wrap and let 30 minutes to cool.
    2.Then remove and spred on a sheet no thicker than 1 cm.Cut in 8 circles of shape size wich the dessert will sit in fridge.
    3.The dough circles is placed on a floured tray and bake 20 minutes maximum.Remove them and let cool.
    4.The gelatine prepare as directed in envelope and then mix with sugar and yoghurt. You can add fruit dices.
    5.The bottom of each shape is palced an orange dial ,fill the form with yoghurt mixed with gelatin and put cover baking dough circle. It gives to cool to congeal. When remove it ou of form,place a plate over it and pour. Enjoy!

    Ingredients:
    -100 g nuts
    -250 g flour
    -125 g sugar
    -125 ml water
    -100 ml oil
    -2 spoon of honey
    -½ spoon of baking soda
    -1 spoon of lemon juice
    -½ spoon of baking powder
    -Salt

    Preparation:
    1.Mix the water bain-marie oil, sugar and honey.
    2.Add baking soda, lemon pickle off.
    3.Stop fire and put ground nuts
    4.Incorporates fresh sifted flour and mix with a pinch of salt and baking powder.
    5.The composition thus obtained, pour it into a form of cake smeared with oil and dusted with flour.
    6.Leave the oven at moderate fire, 45 minutes.

    -Ingredients:
    For crust: 8 whole eggs, 2 egg whites, 40g flour, 50g cacao, 8 tablespoons of sugar
    For the filling: 400g butter, 400g sugar, 90g cacao, 150ml water, 2 egg yolks.
    -Preparation:
    Leaf: rub the eggs and sugar well, then add flour and cacao. Grease a pan with a capacity of 3 kg with butter and place mixture to tobaking heat.
    Cream: water is placed in the kettle with cacao and sugar. Bring toboil a few times, then cool. Rub the butter well then add the cooledsyrup and egg yolks.
    Cut dough in half, fill with cream and cover the surface all with cream.

  23. Better Butter Cookies

    Ingredients
    2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    1 tablespoon baking soda
    1 cup butter
    3/4 cup white sugar
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup peanut butter
    3 eggs
    3 tablespoons vanilla extract
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)



    Directions
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
    Sift together the flour, and baking soda, set aside. In a medium bowl, cream the white sugar and brown sugar with the butter. Stir in the eggs, one at a time, then the vanilla and peanut butter. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and stir until combined. Finally, stir in the nuts.
    Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool on wire racks.

  24. Classic Beef Cheeseburgers

    1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    2 teaspoons steak seasoning blend
    4 hamburger buns, split
    4 slices cheese (such as cheddar, American, Swiss, etc.)
    4 lettuce leaves
    4 tomato slices

    Toppings: Ketchup, mustard, onion slices, pickles
    Combine ground beef and steak seasoning in large bowl, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Lightly shape into four 3/4-inch thick patties.
    Place patties on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, uncovered, 13 to 15 minutes (over medium heat on preheated gas grill, covered, 13 to 14 minutes) until instant-read thermometer inserted horizontally into center registers 160°F (70°C), turning occasionally. About two minutes before burgers are done, place buns, cut sides down, on grid. Grill until lightly toasted. During last minute of grilling, top each burger with cheese slice.
    Line bottom of each bun with lettuce leaf; top with tomato slice, burger, and toppings, as desired. Close sandwiches.
    Makes 4 servings.

    Preparation and cooking time: 25 to 30 minutes.

    •6 eggs
    •½ whipped cream
    •6 spoons of sugar
    •4 vanilla
    •race chocolate

    Separet the eggs.The whites beat well with 2 spoons of sugar.The yolks mix well with 6 spoons of sugar an vanilla until the sugar melts.
    The cream mixed separately.
    Over the yolks add the cream then add the whites.
    At the end add the race chocolate and put it in the freezer.

    •In the ice-cream you can add fruits!!!

  27. Crunchy Honey-Breaded Camembert

    4 small camemberts, Honey, Bread crumbs . Butter, Oil, A few leaves of mache.
    For the dressing: 2 tbsp. olive oil, 2 tbsp. sunflower oil, 2 tbsp. vinegar, 1 tbsp. mustard.

    Preheat the oven to 200° C (400° F).
    Roll the camemberts in the honey, then the breadcrumbs.
    Heat the butter and oil in a skillet. Brown the camemberts over low heat for 15 minutes, turning often.
    Place them into a baking dish and place in the oven for 5-8 minutes.
    Combine the ingredients for the vinaigrette. Serve the camembert with a few mache leaves dressed with the vinaigrette.

    Fruit tart ingredients:
    Ingredients for dough:
    - 4 tablespoons sugar
    -4 tablespoons flour
    -2 bags vanilla sugar
    -A pinch of baking powder

    -1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk
    -3 tablespoons flour (60g)
    -3 tablespoons sugar (75g)
    -3 bags of vanilla sugar
    Fruits and jelly:
    -Fruit you like
    -Little apple juice or other fruit (insiropat) leaf
    -1 sachet gelatin

    Mode of preparation :
    Leaf: yolk separates whites. beat the egg whites with whisk
    Beat the egg whites to get a dense cosistenta
    The row then add one teaspoon vanilla sugar, continue beating mixture
    When sugar has melted add the yolk gradually
    Add the baking powder and rum extract. Then incorporate flour

    Pour mixture into pan and placed in the oven at low heat for 30-35 minutes
    Cream: Place milk with vanilla sugar on fire
