  1. I agree with the statement "Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it" because only those persons can express their feelings and can live the moment when they are on stage or with the help of a music instrument.
Firstly, is assumed that the one who creats music loves to compose, to creat, to focuse the sounds in a rhythm in order for the human ears to enjoy it. Knowing that he can do this, the one who composes is happy of his creation, along the fans of his music.
Secondly, i don't think that there is a single person in the history of arts that created music only for him. On the contrary when he creats he thinks about the impact that his creations will have.
In another train of thoughts truly valuable is what represents and what satisfies a value for the composer and the listeners. A semnificativ example is Vivaldi who through his seasons transmitted his feelings is a way that the one who is listening merges with his wonderful creation. Anyway music and art in general are benefits that help us be more human, more better and it help us live better, to forget, in a few words it makes un feel better.

    1. very good response!
      some observations, though:
-the vb "create" is spelled with a final "e"; "semnificativ" does not exist (use "significant" instead)
-"in order for the human ears to enjoy it" is not quite ok(use "so that humans can enjoy")
      thank you!

  2. Music, as we all know is an important source of relax ,of meditation and maybe for ones it can be a muse witch inspires them and makes them feel a lot more comfortable and able to do what they have to. I do not agree with the statement “Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it” and I think that as long as we really like music, we can enjoy it without knowing what is behind it.

Firstly, I think that a lot of people like music as much as I do and I don’t really know how music is made but I can still enjoy it. The ones that know how to make music are enjoying it too, but they enjoy a lot more the results they get after their work. For example I don’t know how music is made, but I really enjoy it everyday of my life, I really like listening music, I also like singing and I don’t even think how music is made, I just enjoy it how it is and I can do it very well.

Secondly, I believe that music is made to be enjoyed by us, witch don’t know how is made, the artists are making music for us and if we enjoy it, their popularity increases. They are proud of their work as long we enjoy it, we are important for them and their music is important for us.

In conclusion, maybe we are not the ones that are making music, but we are the ones that are making music important and the ones that really make music are the ones that love music as much as we do, but the difference between us is that they actually know how to make it and they have a gift witch are following.

    1. good pieces of thought! some observations, though:
-"source of relaxation", not "relax" (you need a noun there, not a verb)
-"witch" is the feminine of "wisard" (for the relative pronoun, the correct spelling is "which")---I know you knew it, maybe it's an accident
-"listen TO"music, not "listen music"--it's not exactly like in Romanian)
      thank you!

  3. I don`t agree with the statement "Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it" because music is something general, that is made by people for people.
Firstly, I belive that a lot of people worldwide are enjoying listening to music. As a creator knows best his creation so do artists and composers know their music but this doesn`t mean that only them can really enjoy litening to it.
Secondly, I don`t think the artists and composers are enjoying music better the other people. In fact because of ordinary people the music created by artists and composers is enjoyed.
In conclusion, I don`t agree whit the statement "Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it"
because of the arguments above and real life examples.

  4. It is known thet everyone listen music when is sad or when is happy, but not everyone can make music.

In the first place, when you listen a song, you enjoy it, because otherwise you wouldn't listen it. It doesn't matter if you know how the music is made because you can enjoy it even if you don't.The composers are happy if we listen their music because it's made for us.

In the second place the people who know how to make music can enjoy listening to it because they know everythyng about it. The composers enjoy listening music that is well made and if they like their music they feel good .

In conclusion I don't agree with the statement "Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it" because the music is made to be listened and everyone enjoys music in the same way.

  5. I don’t agree with the statement: ”Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it”. Music is an art which attracts people, doesn’t matter the sex, the nationality or the religion.

I think that everyone can love music, even if we make music or not. Music is a kind of refuge from our problems and disappointments, and it can change our mood. Songs help us to have fun when we are not very happy. What’s more, there is no successful party without music. People can’t have fun without it. Music involve dance too (and also fun).

On the other hand, it’s true that the people who compose music, appreciate it more. Because they know how difficult it is made. But I believe that they make music especially for the people who enjoy this kind of art. Compositors don’t create music for themselves; they compose for their fans. I think that they have a satisfaction when many people enjoy their music.

George Enescu said that what’s important in art, is to vibrate yourself, but also to make others to vibrate. So he admitted that not only the people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it. I completely agree with this statement, because I believe that art, and music of course, is the only thing allowable for everyone.

  6. In my first argument I want to expose that is natural that only that person that really knows the problem can enjoy it at full. For example if I am a constructor and someone build something with a hard seeable wrong thing, like a window that is not perfect right, I will see it because I know where to look to see it.
A secondly argument is about how you fell when you see a good realized product if you know how rarely you can see something like this and how hard is to do it . As an example is how a normal person and a film critic see a good movie, that is not a money maker, from the point of view of the scenery, how the characters are build or how the image is. A normal person will say that is a poor movie because so looks like, has not the marketing part in it, but a film critic will look more in its depths and he will appreciate its good realized technical parts.
Summering my arguments I would say that I agree with the fist statement, but that means not, that just only that people that make music can enjoy it, we as a standard consumers can also enjoy it but just the surface of it.

  8. Someone said once that “Music is what feelings sound like” and I completely agree with this statement. Music is the one that can make you feel relaxed if something goes wrong in your daily life. Music is the one that inspire us for a better life and gives us strength to move on when we don’t think that we can go any further.
In the first place, I think that if you really want to know what music really means you should try to understand it. You should try to learn it because above art, music it’s science too. If you can understand how it works you can feel it better and even try to improve the songs that you are listening to. Music it is like life. If you have experience with it and you have been through it you can really enjoy it because you know how to treat it with respect. If you don’t know it you might be surprised and it might be an experience not so beautiful.
On the other hand, I also think that you can feel the music even if you don’t know how to make it. As I said before music it is science, but it is art to. Music is almost always based on feelings and thoughts. Common people listen to music to relax so they don’t need to know how the music is created. They don’t even care how the music is created. All they care is that music to express their thoughts so they can really enjoy it.
In conclusion, I believe that if you really want to understand music and listening to it and felling it’s deep feeling, you must know how it’s created, how it become what it is. But you can also listen music and understand it with your heart and you don’t need to know anything because what matters the most it is to enjoy it. So I partially agree with the statement “Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it!

  10. Personally i can't agree with this statement. Yes it's true that a person that has knowledge about music, or was schooled in its arts, has a better understanding of how it works, because he can listen to every note, every instrument, every vers, comming in perfect harmony to create an beautiful work of art. It's like a mechanic , knowing, only by listening to the sound of a car engine, that it has a problem or not. And how the car was designed to be used by the everyday man , so can music be enjoyed by everyone. Its purpose is to inspire , or generate a state of happines / sadness depending of it's type, you don't need to be a savant to have this feeling just the ordinary man.
In conclusion you can be a brilliant songwriter with absolute pitch (is the ability of a person to identify or re-create a given musical note without the benefit of an external reference) a student , a person outside going to work , or the teacher reading this text , everyone can enjoy listening to music , no matter how many phd degrees we have.

  12. I don't agree with the statement " Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it", because music is for everyone, not just for those who make music. Music is the essential foundation of our existence. It is the rhythm of our souls. No matter who you are, if you are a musician or not, or where you come from, music is there, in your soul.
Firstly i want to say that music is all around us, and we need music in our lives even we are just simple listeners, if we create music.
Secondly i know that a creator cand understand much better what he create, but this doesn't mean that a listener can't enjoying listening to music.
Some people compose music, others play music and others only listen to it. A lot of people who cannot play any musical instrument love to listen to music everyday, in everymoment.
In conclusion i want to say that music for me is one of the greates accomplishments of man and i don't konw how i could go trough life without it and I am sure that is not just my opinion.

  13. I think that everyone, each of us can enjoy music. Is true that people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it.There’s a difference between hearing music and listening to it.I think that people who can transform their feelings and their old memories in a song are very sensittive and I consider that they feel the music a little different then us.
Without music, life is just a dull experience,in my opinion. It’s almost impossible to think that someone does not like listening music.I consider that music is the best „medicine” for our tired brains,as it somewhat helps to eliminate stress and pressure,so I think that all of us can enjoy listening to music.
I love listening to music because this makes me forget about problems and relax me.
I can’t imagine this world without music and I’m sorry if there would be anyone that would not like listening music.
In conclusion I don’t agree with the statement „Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening it”,I believe that each of us can enjoy music even if not all do music.

  14. In my opinion this statement talks about how people understand and feel music.
First of all i think that music is everywhere, music gives us or "treat" us to some less pleasant feelings we have sometimes.
Optimistic people are also those who live and know music as a cure, as a remedy of all problems. From my point of view all people carry their own music in their own soul. It's all about a perfect simmetry: those who make music offer us feelings and emotions, but first of all, they do it for them...music is for those who have created but especially for those who only listen. One who creates something feels complete if he can send everything he wanted.
In conclusion i can say that i disagree with the statement because i expect that the music remain the only infinite, unlimited source of happiness...people are to selfish so music is one of the few things that we all receive. Delora Dumitrescu

  15. "Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it"

Generally speaking, human beings are receptive, they are full of ideas for progress, for helping technology advance. In some cases technology is not enough.
To enjoy the music means to feel the music and for this, you don’t need just the technology or the science. You need some skills and some well-developed abilities. To enjoy and feel the music you must be born with these abilities or to improve them during the entire live.
First of all, music it made by artists, by musicians. They are considered the most sensitive beings and very dedicated to their work. They can feel and enjoy music in the best way possible. To support this idea I give you one example: ‘I live entirely in my music. I write ten thousand notes rather than a single letter of the alphabet.’ (Ludwig van Beethoven).
Other people can also do that. ‘The point of music is to comfort us by the rupture of the nature and degree of weakness for her show …’ (Emil Cioran).Through this example I want to say that ordinary people can enjoy music but they can’t feel it at the maximum or in the same way as musicians. Despite the fact that people have become sentimentally attached to music and have grown to love music, they are labeled as being ‘not involved’.
By way of conclusion I agree with the statement ‘Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it’ because ordinary people without abilities to create music can’t get involved and feel music like an artist.

Fistly , each person can enjoy music in their own way . Doesn't exist a specific standard to enjoy the music , meaning that not only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it.
Secondly , I think that you can feel the music even if you don’t know how to make it . Music is made to be enjoyed by us , is made to relax us, to inspire us and all that we can do without knowing how music is created.

  17. I think that this following statement "Only people who know how to make music can really enjoy listening to it" is true because everybody listens to music but only a little part of them really know if one song will be a hit or not.
In the first place, people who know how to make music can tell us what is behind a melody, because they know information about the melodic line and sounds and they can express their opinion regarding the quality of a song very well.
In the second place, all of us listen to music and enjoy it. Many people listen to music because they have a favourite singer, they enjoy the message or how a part of a song sounds. In fact we are free to listen to whatever we like, even if we don’t know anything about music.
In conclusion I think that music is created for all of us, but only those who don’t know many things about music listen to any kind of songs, while people who know how to make music are more selective, they listen to better music.

  19. In my opinion, that statement expresses something that’s true: not all people are able to really enjoy listening to music, only the one who have contributed to its creation have this ability.
I think it is the same as it is with women most of them love small children because they are sweet and lovely but the mother’s love can not be understood and felt only by them who are mothers. It is the same with music: when you try to create it, in fact you try to express your feelings by its verses and melody and so it will become something that belongs to you and describes you. That’s why you will understand more deeply what it means to make music and listen to it. Verses and melodies express the profundness of a character and its inner experiences and so when you will listen to it you will understand the feelings of its “creator”, too. Otherwise that music will be only something that you keep listening because it’s the kind of music that you are used with, that you like and that makes you feel good, but you will not try to unravel what’s behind the verses and melody, what the “creator” wanted to put in.
Many of us are only listeners and are not interesed in the artist’s intention and in it’s feelings; only artists can undesrstand what’s really behind the “simple music” that we use to listen, only they are able to really enjoy listening to it, because they are able to gain insight into it, too.

  20. There is no person on Earth to dislike or not listen to music. It is hard to find a definition for this concept, because each person feels and understands music differently, according to previous experiences or knowledge. In my opinion, I agree with the statement that "music is what feelings sound like".

Firstly, not everybody has the gift or talent of creating music. But those who have it, definitely enjoy music and listening to it in a special way, that others do not. Musicians are inspired and most of the time express their feelings, emotions through their pieces of music. They don't write just for fun, but for the pleasure, inner peace and fulfillment which music offers to them.

Secondly, nobody can appreciate and value music more than the ones who create it. Everybody listens to music, dances, enjoys it, but not that consciously and deep as its creators. A musician expresses his disappointment, sadness, pain, also love, happiness through his work, while the one who just listens to it likes or dislikes it according to its rhythm, accords, sounds or words.

However, not having the talent or gift of making music, doesn't necessary mean that one cannot enjoy it. There are people who have a passion for music, who like it and would like to be able to play it but they can’t. Still they enjoy it and feel it.

To conclude, I would like to point out the fact that not only those who make music can really enjoy it, but there is a difference in enjoying music between the ones who make it and the ones who simply listen to it.

First of all you are familiar with the expression: "takes one to know one"?In order to understand ones work you need to know where he's/she's been through. After that you will appreciate better the music, knowing the rules and that dicipline that it takes to compose music.
On the other hand music is not all about rules it's also about feeling , and everyone got feelings.Every one can understand what the composer wants to transmit through music. Certain notes arranged in a certain mannor will transmit a certain feeling to the brain and that happens without any training of anykind
In my opinion everyone can enjoy music but only those who know how the music is made can really apeciate the composer and his music
